Elusive Innovations B.V. is a Dutch software company. We build custom software, business process automation, AI solutions, dashboards and digital products for companies whose operation has outgrown the software running it. We connect to the systems that can stay where they are.
Our mission
We exist to take away the work that happens outside the software. At companies that have grown, that is rarely one large process. It is details someone enters twice, a report someone assembles by hand, and an exception the package does not allow for. We build the software that does allow for it, and connect that to whatever stays. What that buys is time going back to the work a team actually adds value with.

Our story
From Christmas dinner to a company
What started at the end of 2025 as a joke over Christmas dinner is now a company with a team that brings over thirty years of combined experience: young enough to stay on top of what is happening in AI, around long enough to know what survives in production.
In 2025, embedded software engineer Jari van Bakel helped co-founder Mitchel set up the business processes across his four Dutch and three German locations more intelligently. By applying AI and automation, we gained clear insight into our input and output. For the managers that meant more efficient processes, better steering of teams, and more grip on the organization.
It gave us both a huge amount of energy. In the end we said to each other, laughing: 'Maybe we should just turn this into a company.' That joke became reality.
Earlier this year we launched Elusive Innovations. We have since completed more than ten projects for a wide range of clients. What we see every time: most of the hours sit in the handling around a process, in the retyping, the checking and the passing on.
To everyone who already trusted us: thank you. This is only the beginning.
