The phone is not the work
A missed call costs you the enquiry. An answered call costs you the admin afterwards. Our assistants pick up, call out, and do that follow-up work straight away in the systems you already have.
Try it yourself
Have the assistant call you
Fill in your details and he will call you.
He asks what you do and which calls you would rather hand over. You can hang up at any point.
We use your details for this demo only.
Where phone traffic gets stuck
Behind every call sits work that still has to happen afterwards.
The call nobody answered
Outside office hours, or during a rush.
The callback request on a note
Dependent on who remembers it.
The work after the call
Held, and then still to be entered.
What is going past you now
Your figures, and what is being left today.
Use the average, not your largest order.
Your arithmetic, not a promise from us. How much of it an assistant catches depends on your calls and your systems.

How it works
On the processes you already have.

The assistant answers or calls out
On your own number and phone system.

He works out why they are calling
No phone menu.

He looks into your systems
During the call, reading and writing.

He carries out the action
Before you look the call back up.
What it can handle
The range we build them for.
Inbound
- Answering questions from your own systems
- Qualifying enquiries
- Booking appointments
- Logging callback requests, with the reason
- Putting callers through to the right person
Outbound
- Following up leads while they are warm
- Confirming appointments
- Asking customers follow-up questions
- Chasing quotes and open files
- Returning calls that came in overnight
What it connects to
An assistant is worth exactly what it connects to.
Telephony
Your own number and phone system.
Calendar
Reading availability, booking appointments.
CRM
Contact, status, note, call summary.
Internal systems
Order, file, stock, planning.
Which is why work comes out of it, not just a note.
What it does not do, and why that is the point
Anything that promises everything should not be talking to your customers.
- Invents nothing
- Says he is an assistant
- Hands over when unsure
- Calls your own contacts only
- Does not replace your team
Read enough? Let it call you
Thirty seconds on the phone tells you more than the rest of this page.
Who this works for
Where calls resemble each other and something has to happen afterwards.
- Enquiries arriving outside office hours
- A lot of phone time spent booking appointments
- Recurring questions about orders and files
- Leads that need following up faster
How we approach integrations and automation
What is already running
90%
of leads reached, was 60%, measured over hundreds of leads
5 min
to the first call attempt
3 days
to the interview, for nine in ten
The same work we build integrations and internal systems with. The three figures above are one chain: because the call back comes within five minutes, more people are reached, and so they sit down with you sooner.
See Closer AI, our AI voice platformWhat we get asked
Can a caller tell they are not speaking to a person?
Yes. The assistant states what it is at the start of the call, and anyone who wants a colleague gets one. That is not a concession but a condition: a caller who feels tricked is a customer you lose.
What happens when it does not know?
It says so and hands over. It gets no room to guess: it answers from the sources you have pointed it at, and beyond those the call goes to a person or becomes a callback request with the question attached.
Does this work with our phone system?
In most cases yes, and you keep your own number. Which system you use determines what the integration looks like, so it is one of the first things we ask about. Switching to another telephony provider is not a condition.
Which languages can it call in?
Dutch and English are what we build and test in. Other languages are possible, but we want to try them against your actual calls before switching them on.
What happens to the recordings and the data?
Calls are processed so the action can be carried out, and what is kept and for how long is set down in a data processing agreement. That is a choice you want to make deliberately rather than find buried in a setting, so we walk through it explicitly.
Can it do just one thing instead of everything?
That is usually the best start. One frequent conversation type with a clear action behind it, booking appointments or following up callback requests for instance. Once that works, the rest can follow.
Is this the same as an AI receptionist or an AI switchboard?
Those terms are used for the same thing, but they usually cover only answering the phone: picking up, transferring, taking a message. The emphasis here is on what happens next. The assistant books the appointment, updates the CRM and starts the follow-up, and places calls itself where you want it to. Answering is the beginning, not the product.
Can you automate a call centre with this?
Partly, and that is usually the point. The conversation type that recurs and has a clear outcome can be handed over; the one that asks for judgement or empathy cannot. In practice, automating telephony means taking the repetition out so your people get to the difficult conversations, not driving headcount to zero.
What does it cost?
That depends on the number of calls and on how many systems have to join in, and that differs per company. We are not going to guess it here. In twenty minutes we know what pays off most at your company, and after that you know what it is and what it costs.
Does he call bought-in lists?
No. Outbound calling runs on your own contacts and your own processes. Putting an assistant on a bought-in list is not automation but nuisance, and it costs you more goodwill than it returns.
Does this replace our team?
No, and that is not where the return is either. He takes the repetitive work out so the calls that need judgement or empathy reach a person. Staffing shifts; it does not go to zero.
Twenty minutes, and you will know whether this fits
What he can take over at your company depends on your calls and your systems. We are not going to guess at that.
