Accessibility statement
Last updated: 11 August 2026
1. What we aim for
Elusive Innovations wants everyone to be able to use this website, including with a screen reader, a keyboard alone, or at an enlarged zoom level. We hold it to WCAG 2.1 level AA.
We build software for other people. A site that is not accessible itself is a poor advert for that trade. So we test it, and we write down what is not right yet rather than keeping quiet about it.
2. What has been tested
On 10 and 11 August 2026 the site was measured automatically with Playwright and Chrome, across every main page in Dutch and English.
Checked: keyboard navigation and focus order, visibility of the focus indicator, colour contrast for every text style, heading hierarchy, landmarks, language attributes, alternative text, form labels and autocomplete, target sizes, and whether moving elements respect `prefers-reduced-motion`.
Found sound: the skip link works and is the first tab stop, there are no focus traps, every form field is labelled, and every colour combination measured clears the AA threshold comfortably.
3. What is not right yet
At a viewport of exactly 320 pixels the browser reports three pixels of horizontal overflow on the homepage. No content is cut off and no element can be pinned down as the cause; it is a rounding effect of the horizontally scrollable card rails. We are keeping an eye on it.
The background video on the homepage plays automatically. It carries no audio and stops as soon as your system asks for reduced motion, but someone who finds movement distracting cannot switch it off separately.
If you run into anything else, we would like to hear it. See point 5.
4. How we measure
The checks run as a script against the live site rather than as a one-off review. They run again on every change, so an improvement cannot quietly disappear.
This statement is updated whenever anything above changes.
5. Reporting a problem
If something gets in your way, email info@elusiveinnovations.com. Describe as precisely as you can which page it concerns and what went wrong; a screenshot or the assistive software you use helps.
We reply within one working day. If we cannot fix it quickly, we will look with you for another way to get you the information.
